Anyone know how to clean MAF sensors?

I appear to be using alot more fuel than normal.

I think it may be cause oil has gotten on the sensor.

Anyone know how to clean it. Ive heard there is somthing which you just drip on?

I use a good quaility rubbing alcohol, put maf and alcohol in plastic bag, shake well and remove and let dry for 4-6 hours

Has worked for me more than once!

or you can go to repco or the like & buy a can of air flow sensor cleaner from CRC etc.

Alcohol will be good if you can get to the element, a lot of them have screens so you can get to it - high pressure spray!

lol i thought i said before that this could happen with oiled filters that they can fk around with your MAF
