    Hey Guys,

Yeah, I' in the same boat, I'm sure someone could make something that is just as good. I checked another forum for Performance Exhaust Centre, they seem to get lots of positive reviews. They're are not too far, so I might check them out.

Noone, is there a chance that a custom downpipe will give me an error light on the dash? I heard that part of the APR stage II flash was to remove the error light.

Giallorosso, I got them for a good price, as Derek had held them in stock for a while. I think retail for the full 'Cup Kit' was around $1500. Not sure what the struts alone would be though, mate.

      Button,

you'll most likely get a CEL due to the increased flow of gasses through the downpipe.

I had this issue with my APR downpipe and rather than go and fork over the amount required for a tune at the time I simply ordered an o2 spacer from Greg Roles at Carformance. This increases the distance between the post-cat o2 sensor and eliminates the CEL.

simple and cheap fix to that annoying little orange light.

Thanks Bflat, is that something I should provide to the fabricator in anticipation of the CEL?

I've been speaking to a few exhaust shops. Does anyone know what a 'flex bellow' is?

Also, does anyone have any opinions on 304 grade Stainless Vs 409 grade? The 309 is dearer, so I assume it is just a higher grade. However, this wont need to last me 50 years, so I think the 409 should do me. Any thoughts?

Its the 'flexi' I mentioned earlier
This is a pic of my Milltek vs stock:

As you can see the flexi is right near the flange.
          This is the APR:

..It has the flexi down lower which is a better design IMO as there's not much room near where the Milltek places it.

I haven't had a problem with any CEL's but I may just be lucky. It took the ECU a day or two to get used to it.
I think it's a good idea to get one made up, saves a heap of money and will be just as good Only reason I didn't is its my wife's daily driver so no time to get it in the shop.
Also if you get a free moment can I get a side pic of your pog? I want to go with the same suspension setup

Looks like that one has the cat as well. if you change the cat, you're likely to throw codes. I don't remember codes being an issue where the stock cat was kept...

Thanks for such a detailed response!

              Here's a side shot;

I would recommend the combo, particularly if your missus is driving it. Ride is still comfortable, and I have never bottomed out or scraped my front bumper.
