Cheers pal. nah, once you cut the recess out you have to fill the hole. We used the cut out bit and set it in flush, then a skim of filler to smooth it over nicely.

Hey mate, i used to work in your area with British Aerospace, had loads of fun there, anyway onto the car, arches nicely filled mate, and the twists look really good on it. Clean as. What Exhaust you got?? Tips look really nice mate. Good to see 9ns getting some respect over there now.
      Cheers

Yeah I work at British aerospace as well, well we say work... haha. Thanks for the comments! really happy with how its sitting at the moment. Its a Milltek cat back on now but I'm hoping to purchase a downpipe in the new year to complete the system. It seems that a lot more 9n's and 9n3's are popping up over here now!

Haha nice! Would make a sweet photo shoot with them both, but not much chance of that!

Well a bit of an update!
Arms fixed and starting to get movement back out of it ;D

And the new exhaust is burning in nicely and producing a sweet note with a few pops and burbles here and there.

Got a few new shots at the weekend too

And tonight I came up with a more permenant fitting of my gauges using a bit of plastic I had in the garage

That's a tidy looking gauge setup you've got there, mate. Got any audio clips of the exhaust now that it's warmed up?

                        As requested here's an update

Swapped out my FK AK street coilovers for a set of FK highline ones from a mate who was selling his car. I could feel the difference in quality straight away, the ride is so much tighter and it solved my knocking issue on the rear of the car. while doing this i noticed the drop links that came with the coilovers were badly worn so through abit of research i found that Ford Focus drop links are the same fitment and even shorter than the FK ones therefore pulling the ARB even further away from the driveshafts. WIN!

Im also having the car re-mapped tonight by a friend of a friend and with the mods so far he seems to rekon 220bhp and 280torque is likely. Ill be booking it onto a rolliong road to get actual figures and post results up soon.

Which Focus model drop links are those? I need to replace mine.

Not updated in a long while due to slightly falling out of love with the Polo and putting it up for sale. However I bought a house instead of a new car and so the Polo is still with me.

Changed a few bits and pieces to refresh it and rekindle my love for it. Also fitted some rear camber shims to get the wheels sitting slightly better.

                                Here's the results...
