Length shouldnt change to much, your allowed some play.
If you stick your bolt through your orginal wheel while its off the car and measure the distance it sticks out, that is how much you want on your new wheels...
OR there should be the diameter of the bolt in length holding it in place (so in my car, M14 bolts, there should be 14mm (or close enough) holding it in the hub.)
Be more worried about the seat type. OEM wheels have 'ball' seats where as after market might have tapered ones...
Standard length should be about 27, 28mm (length of the threaded part). Cheap ones are aweful, nice can be expensive. There are good ones from places like ECS, but the freight is a killer.
Our bolts are pretty generic, you can ask your local wheel / tyre shop for a look at what they have.
