I replaced mine last month. They are bosch aero-twin wipers. After a bit of looking, couldn't find a retailer who stocks them, but did get a price ($98/pair). I used to buy them from Halfords when I lived OS and they only cost $45ish, so thought this was a rip off. Lots of places selling them online.
Finally went to local VW dealer, who said complete wipers too expensive, so they only replace rubber refills. Cost $24 for 2 refills and 4 replacement end caps. Worked a treat and easy to replace + cheap...

i was quoted $21 from vw for the rear wiper its the only option here in oz. no one makes them aftermarket.

front blades are made aftermarket, got mine at supercheap for $50 for the pair. easy to install.

VW Australia sell a wiper blade replacement kit for around $20. It allows you to replace the rubber blade inserts without spending $$$ on replacing the entire unit.

It's a rarity, but VW were the cheapest for when I have changed out my wiper blades. $24 last time I did it. Don't bother buying the entire unit, just buy the refills.

Damn, who would have thought. I bought mine from Supercheap for $50 or $60 for the front. I do need a rear so if I pass a VW dealer I shall now stop. (and hope I don't walk out with a new car instead)

i currently have the bosch wipers on and they suck. not happy with them at all. they may cost less, but they lasted about 1/4 the time the factory aero wipers lasted

love the tip for getting a wiper refill kit from VW, im gonna go buy that today!

the VW ones only seem to last about 2 years, but for $20 a piece, its ok. They work well, so can't complain.
