  • Sachs Suspension... Standard?

Just noticed the other day that I have Sachs shocks under my Polo GTi... is this the standard brand fitted to the Polo GTi or does this mean that they may have been fitted by the previous owner?

Standard. Think I saw the same thing.

Standard. One of the first things that attracted me to GTI when I first saw one. However, def. not the Polo's best feature in reality IMO........

Yeah they are standard. Noticed they were sachs when I fitted coilovers.

there's even sachs in the TDI.....

despite their name / brand reputation, they're still just as capable as anyone else of making utterly sht items, apparently, lol.

I don't think the suspension is bad, just not well matched for the Polo. Not enough engineering time.
