TT wheels and tyre size?

I'm about to fit up some Audi TT wheels, and just wondering which tyre size to go for, for a GTI with Eibach springs? 215/40/17 or 205/40/17?

I have the same wheels as you, with 215/40/17s that came off my previous wheels. The TT wheels were half an inch wider than my old wheels, which has helped stretch the tyre out slightly, but the relatively low (for a Polo) et35 offset means I got pretty bad scrubbing on the inside of the arch when coupled with the KWs. I've had to push the arch liner back up inside the arch further, however still get scrubbing on the front if I'm not careful with speedbumps, hit an unseen pothole, or G-out too quickly.

I'll be going 205 rubber as soon as these tyres wear out for sure.

What colour are you going? Your car is silver, yes?

They are getting done in Satin Charcoal, should look good. Pretty dark but not quite black. And yeah the car is silver.

What did they sting you for powder coating?? I am looking at getting my Twists repainted in the near future, and would like to have a base price to go off.

By the way, they look amazing.
