  • Replacement keys? Where should I buy one from?

I'm thinking it's about time I actually got a spare key after turning the whole house upside down to find mine about to go through the wash.

I know you can get replacements off ebay but VW are saying that their are two different types of key or something like that and I'm not sure which to buy. I'm definitely not buying from the dealer as it's getting on $300! I've also searched ebay and none of the fobs come with the chip? So how do I get one of these?

Can anyone point my in the right direction as to what I should search for? Thanks

If you have 1 good one, a surf key (small and plastic) is a spare much cheaper than a fob, all through VW.
