Awesome mate. Looks good. I would have gotten one if they had a little more power. Gotta love the fuel economy. Anything planed for mods???

Very nice! Looks sexy in black!

With all that torque, it must be quite a bit of fun

Mines just a 1.6 but it puts a smile on my dial... and this is coming from an ex ss owner :

Looks good. Just throw some wheels and lower it a bit, it'll be a sweet car.

              Great car !

Great buy, mate ! There certainly aren't too many VW's in WA yet !

P.S. Shaneth: Why would you modify a brand new vehicle ? Your warranty will expire when you do that ! Plus isn't it great as it is ?

Nick it was just a question mate. And a mod can be anything from interior to exterior changes to a car. From engine to styling. And as for the warranty expiring

                  welcome locus,
nice polo! and especially my fav motor TDI!!!! chip that baby and hold on!!!

as for warrenty issues,as long as your mods are not to do with mechanical or suspension and if they are, passed by the dealer first, there shouldnt be a problem.my cousin bought a brand spanker R32 recently and was offered every mod by the dealer, all under warrenty, but if he went and found them at a cheaper price outside the dealership there would be no warrenty.see what they are worried about!! $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ lost.......

dont know where you get your info from nick!!!

Nothing wrong with that, albeit a bit of a rarity around these parts. In fact, I'd go so far to say that having a stock car around here is a statement in itself!

I'm sure you'll enjoy what is an absolutely brilliant car (with more torque than the GTIs )

                          no worries

no worries chaps, I just thought I should throw that in as dealers are looking for ways not to pay for some mecanical stuff once modifications have taken place - I worked at a BMW dealership for a short while and that was their policy ;o)
