Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

    Hi All,

Wondering what products everyone use for cleaning the exterior and interior of their Polo's, and how often everyone cleans their cars. Didn't look after my previous cars much, so need advice re. cleaning and protecting leather/vinyl/plaster interior and cleaning exterior/waxing/etc.

    Cheers,
    C

Being in QLD, on lvl 5 restrictions... i hardly clean my car at all. When i do... hand wash cafe is pretty good. I'd prefer to do it myself...

oh - so you guys do get meguiars stuff there - well one more vote for those products - but when you want to polish or glaze your car if you can get zymol - you wont go wrong at all - we have to import that stuff in here and its not freely available (the zymol stuff) but its absolutely amazing how that works to get your metallic car get that wetlook with no swirl marks

but meguiars is more than good enough anyway - the NXT stuff rocks
