Wheels - will they fit

Hi guys
Just wondering if the polo will fit 17x7.5 +48 wheels
They should fit the 7.5 width but don't know about the offset.

Apparently I have read that we can go to a 7 inch width with +43 but the extra ~12mm width plus the 5mm offset may scrub?
I'll check on offset calc but wondering about clearance of the struts and guards

Your going to need big spacers to run a +48 offset, also the Sabaru Center bore is wrong, guess it depends on the wheel.
At the end of the day you can make just about anything fit, if you have the $$. Coilovers, camber etc

I am in the process of fitting +48 offset, I am running 15mm spacers tho, and plan to have some camber on the front

Can get hubcentric adapters to knock the 73.1mm centrebore down to 57.1mm no problems... Check with your insurance re: spacers as I know that unless they are factory fitted (i.e. Porsche) they are illegal in QLD... Not sure about other states

Spacers and adaptors are illegal in Vic too...
