I have been umming and arring for a long time with wheels !

They finally backed me into a corner and got me to give them the go ahead.

Should handle pretty darn well with the michelin pilot preceda 2's

I dont really know what you mean by wheels specs !

But 17inch Audi S4 Replica wheels in normal alloy finish.


i have no idea about offsets or whatever, the tyre shop makes sure thats all right, i hope.

Should do. You'll notice the ride is a little more harsh, due to the smaller profile. You'll probably find the Michelins have stiffer sidewalls than the Contis.

Ditto on pics, and see if you can get the wheel offset information from the tyre dealer

they are audi rs4 b7 alloys which i originally wanted.

those ones on that blue polo above are the RS4 replicas and are probably 18" not 17" - those are common here in south africa

the S4 ones would look like this



havent seen too many of these around in replica or original form here - so these are rare in my parts and would look absolutely stunning on a Polo - problem is when a rim was originally designed as a 19" to find a replica smaller than 18" is difficult - and 18's can fit on a polo as long as its 5/100pcd with offset ET43 and you use 215/35/18 tyres - but its not worth lowering your car too much after that or the ride will get bone jarringly harsh - 35mm is around the maximum id drop it
