Stuffed wheel bearings?

I think we talking about wheel bearings, if it is fronts be ready for Elm street. The 9N3 have Gen 2 wheel bearings and cant be done the conventional way ( press out and press in) totally different, reason i say it is ive done a few. there is a special tool which is needs the Liberian deficit to pay for it. I ended up figuring out a way without the special tool, pm me if need be. If your mechanic does it without the right tool or at least being super super careful he will for sure stuff it and itll be $250 down the drain leaving it still needing a bearing, anyone who has done it or knows someone who has will know where im coming from. They have a special snap collar on the bearing that comes with the hub. Try to fit it the normal way and you will snap the collar for definite. like i say ive got a way round it as ive done a few 9N3s but would be crazy to broadcast it to all the experts so please pm me before you stuff it.
Cheers.
By the way SKF do a kit rather than VW but still reqs the tools or the "other "way.
Cheers

ps the dealer doesn't have the tool generally , they normally hire it from Sydney overnight to do the job.Alba European
