I want to know this as well.
I want to fit the MFSW from a Mk6 GTI to my 9N3, just to freshen up the interior. I've seen it done on Mk4 and 5 golfs, tiguans, passats, and I vaguely remember seeing it on a 9N but can't find it for the life of me.
Ideally I'd like to fit the MFSW if someone with VCDS knowledge could help me. I'm still checking the functionality of the ANS-420 that I've ordered to see if it supports the buttons.
But if that proves too complicated, I'd be happy with just the normal steering wheel.
Does anyone have some knowledge on the subject? It's things like the possibility of cruise control modules needing to be changed and things coded that I have absolutely no idea about.Comment

If you can, find an Edition 30 MKV Golf Gti Steering wheel.
Allegiance has one on his and it looks the absolute business.
It's got the flat bottom like an R8 and some seriously manly contours to grip
