Forge Strut Brace Group Buy

I notice the Forge website says "for the Polo 9N", but then looking in the engine bay, there's lots of things that may be in the way. Shaneth, can you please double-check this fits a RHD '06 Polo GTI? Are you getting one to test fit? (sorry to be a worry wart, but just got a bit concerned )

Yeah no worries ill dbl check. Quick question though, is there a lhd Polo GTI? ask as i cany remember which side england is on. and i know america dont get it.

UK is RHD, so it *should* fit as the Forge site says it fits UK Polos...but doesn't specify the GTI. And is the Aus RHD engine bay the same as UK? One 'assumes' so, but I've been caught before Maybe an advance shipment of one to you, for a test fitting? Avoids all those tears before bedtime

hmm ill see what i can do, although shipping could be exxy. I have been reading a UK polo site and one of the guys has one on and i have asked for pics.

The UK have the Polo GTI in RHD. Jeremy Clarkson did a road test and moaned about it not having enough power.

Yes...but this comes from Forge, who have developed the product in the UK, which is RHD. The likelihood is that it will fit, but a bulk order could be dumb unless we're absolutely sure.

Shaneth, get one sent out, try it out on your car, and split the freight across us all. Does that seem fair?

on a UK polo forum a guy will be putting his in tonight (front and rear strut brace) and he will be putting pics up for me. I haven heard from forge yet but i will be emailing them again tonight.
