  • Chassis Braces for the Polo.

    Hoyhoy.

Chassis Bracing for the Polo now available in Aussie.
Been some chasing up in the near past.
The Australian web site doesn't show them yet... ULTRA RACING AUSTRALIA - About Us
But you can contact the importer mailto:ultra.racing.australia@hotmail.com
his name is Luis & the Ph. No. is 0401247496
    These can be viewed at
Volkswagen Polo Mark 4 1.8 Turbo Aftermarket rear sway bar,Stabilizer bars, anti roll bar, front sway bar, anti sway bar, replace sway bar
I have the front & middle lower braces arriving this week, the rear one not on the shelf right now.
I can see some cutting to be made on the front gravel tray, I'll deal with that when they get here.
    Hooroo.

It's a damned shame that there is no UniBrace available for the 9N(3) Polo because I love how easy they are to remove.
I guess we can blame VW for never importing/building that car in Nth America.

i have them on my pog

ultra racing, well known brand here in Malaysia. i am using their bars on my pog (my car is the R&D car ) these are well made bars imho, will add tons of stiffness to your chassis.

take extra caution if your pog is lowered and want to install the lower arm brace, it tends to scrape at speed bumps. i'm using H&R springs and the lower arm brace has been scraping on a few speed bumps.

edit: oh dang! didn't realize there were a few queries to my post at "what did you did to your polo today?". my bad, should have been more vigilant lol. i see they already have an aussie distributor, enjoy your UR bars mates!

nikan, tell them to make a front strut brace suitable for the TDI.

Was looking at these but decided on the cage route, they also sponsor a mate of mine so would like to atleast run a front strut brace.

they need a donor car to make one, and since there are no polo tdis here, i don't think that's possible.

What makes the GTi one unsuitable for TDi?

At the very least the vacuum distribution block, perhaps other things as well though.

You could email Forge and see if it fits, or you could ask one of the Brissy polo owners to see if you could tees fit their one.

The forge Item I think fits, I haven't looked at that one, sorry i was just talking about the Ultra-Bracing one. If you have a look it has a little bit that goes over the strut top. which is where the vacuum distribution block sits, It doesn't bother me, the cage goes in soon and I will make up a strut brace then most likely.

Thanks. I was pretty sure the Forge one would fit (and I can easily check with some GTi owners who have them) but I was wondering about the Ultra-Racing one just to see what the options were

                            The UR one won't fit.
