Such awesome little cars.... I miss my old polo gti!!!

From the apr downpipe, metal cat and full stainless exhaust, to the apr v1 tune, watching the boost gauge rip round to 21psi, looking at that shiny fmic behind the grill.

Those sweet short tight ratios and mid range surge.

Those very nice leather seats and surprisingly good stock audio system with ipod connection. Loved driving that car.

So how does the new polo gti stack up? I might get another of these cars soon to sit along the v8.

New Polo GTI is great. Except you could be waiting 9-12 months for one.

When you get your new Polo GTI, are you going to cut the springs and add the Bunnings garden tap modification on that one too??

It's a nice car these days. Thankfully it's been returned to a "road worthy" state.

I think as a tribute to its past ownership though, one of these stickers should be applied ....

I don't find him offensive, just a bit of a s*** stirrer.

If you google posts by "Hulk" on rexnet etc you'll find some less friendly banter. I think our friend may have actually lost his job, had his mobile number and grandma's address posted in other forums. Guess that's what happens when you torment people too much..

Anyway, all a bit OT when it comes to Polos.

If you really do miss it Petrina, go buy another Polo GTI, do it up nicely (no angle grinders) and people here will appreciate your efforts.
