Battery cover?

I noticed that some polo gti's have a full cover over the battery & others don't. - Is it an optional part??

correct me if im wrong, but i think the first shipment of polo's had the battery cover - whereas the rest did not to save costs?

there are "carbon fibre" battery covers on ebay! get that one!

Spot on - the early ones had a cover over the distribution plate (like a giant fuse box) - the later ones didn't.

If you buty just the cover - it doesn't clip down as the sides of the base changed slightly.

Keep the hood closed & you cant tell
