30k Service for Polo GTi

Guys

I got quoted $450 for my next service by a VW dealer here in Perth. Was just wondering if thats the going rate these days and also if i dont get my car serviced at the VW dealership does it void my warranty????

Hi saba,

Got no idea about the going rate - only had my car for 400km. But if there is a price difference between vw and elsewhere, I would still stick with vw as some dealerships may try and pin the blame on the guys who serviced your car should something go wrong. My sister had issues with Honda and warranty claims because the car was serviced external to them. My girlfriends dad who also works for a car dealership says the same thing!

Thats my experience with new cars that I have seen anyway.

Think I paid $300 getting mine done with Seb. As long as they are qualified and your service book is filled in they can't void warranty.

I'm bout 2-3 week away from my 45,000km.
