Hey guys, I have been looking around at 9N3 GTI's and I am curious to know if VW changed anything on the cars over the years? I have seen a few that are listed as MY08 upgrade or something similar, just wondering if the newer ones came with any better spec over the older ones?
off the top of my head no really difference nothing that makes the newer ones better than an older one.
- no keyhole on hatch only opens with remote or from inside the car.
- wheel offset changes older were +42 or something and the new are +38 (not a hundred percent on the numbers but around that)
thats all I know of.

The CD player on 2005 models may not be able to play mp3s.
The offset for the wheels changed slightly at one point
Change to the exhaust - central muffler deleted on later cars
New ones don't have a key hole on the boot handle
I may be wrong, but didn't a crown wheel in the differential change count by one tooth and size of bolts also? (thus making picking a LSD difficult?!) Dunno if this affected the diff ratio as well?
