Hello to all.

I've been reading the forums for a while now, knowing I really wanted to pick up a GTI.

I stumbled across a 2nd hand '06 (8 months) red gti, with 15,000 on the clock a few weeks back and picked it up on friday.

Red, APR chip, leather seats (though not stock leather, i think they look better).

Just have one thing to say, "WOW"... this little car is amazing, i test drove the stock one from the dealer and was impressed, i test drove this chipped one, and the grin stayed on my face for a few hours afterwards. Everyone should either have a chip, or test a chip, the acceleration is insane.

Not really much else to say, don't have any major plans yet, maybe a RSB and tint.

I'll chuck up one picture of the seats, everything else is stock so not my point in putting up pictures.

Hey Pomme good choice of cars and would have to agree that leather looks pretty damn good.

Also where are you from and if u dont mind me asking how much did u pick it up for 2nd hand?

It's probably just the camera and my screen, but those GTI highlights on the leather look more pink than red!

Still, that's a nice leather job, although non-stock leather means you miss out on the seat heaters.

Don't know about that, shift work sucks for weekends. Would be fun, i had the last 2 sundays off, but one of my manager didn't turn up, and i had to work both of them.

Yea, its red... might be nice to have seat warmers, but after i've been in the car for 5 minutes, its very unnessesary... seat coolers... now there is something i could find a use for.
