  • Painting wheel centres

I recently bought the BBS wheels off of Golfman here for my GTI, which is candy white.

I wanted to get the centres painted a different colour, but alas there are too many options!

A friend at a crash shop has offered to do it for nix, but now i just have to make up my mind.

Do i paint them a darker, more "charcoal" colour, which may look a bit more purposeful, or get into the current fashion of a bright blue/green/red/whatever centre with the polished lip?

Any advice, opinions, or pictures would be really helpful.

      Exactly. That looks kinda cool.

      But so does this...

It all depends on how much dish your wheels have, without some decent dish it won't look as good as the examples above.

You can dissemble the centers, sand back and spray.

Personally I could not get VW centers for mine, so I popped out the Audi rings, filled and sanded smooth.

Go Black or colour code to your car

            I'm going with blue.

              Oh yeah, BBS

That blue works well, I'd stay a bold or light colour. Black seems like a waste on those lovely rims (won't see the awesomeness)

Blue looks good, not overplayed here.
I would see if you can get the bolts coloured as well for awesome matching.
