Black Bonnets? Original???

Just signed papers on an '07 Polo GTi (Red) Nearly new

It's got a Black bonnet. I've seen it on another couple of POLO's with the black bit but i was just wondering if it was an original thing or if people have done them themselves.

Black Betty in Tassie has done the black bonnet on a white Polo GTI and he also added the red pin-stripe along the edge to match the front grille. It really looks great and stands out on a white GTI. That I'm aware of, Rob was one of the first guys in country to receive his Polo GTI in Dec 05.

Yeah mate, quite aware that rabbit is the US golf.

The rabbit and GT(red)i on my sig pic is from my old MKIII golf which amongst other modifications, was rebadged with MKIV badges and the rabbits. Tastefully done i think!...don't you?

Something that caught my eye with that picture of GTI PERTH's former black-bonnetted car is that...it seems to be sitting in a Renault car yard! There's quite obviously a Clio on the car's left, and behind the Polo is a Laguna.

I guess it's entirely possible that he bought a Clio/Megane Sport, and the dealer's shifting his old Polo.

In fact, i work at said renault garage as a Technician. Safety checked the polo and loved it....she's all mine!!!!

Nice indeed - although they're starting to become rather common like Golf V GTIs. For that coin - and I'll probably get howled down here for saying this - I'd probably buy a Volvo C30 T5.
