probably cheaper. Get one of them and tone it down for street.
What a phenominal amount of money to do that. The colour of his car didn't come here hey? It's more grey than silver, I like it.

According to someone on that forum the S2000 Polo's are around $250K! The mods on this thing is a little bit more down to earth. Still I wouldn't spend $250K on a car either. But hell they'd be so much fun to drive
Current:
2023 Mk2 Tiguan R - Lapiz Blue
2015 Mk7 Golf R Wolfsburg - Limestone Grey: Stage 2

Kills the Evo at the end there too apparently. Lot of cash into that it looks like it. Would be cool to own, but surely he'd have to do so much more than just an lsd/coils/semi-slicks to get alot of that power down?
Be it his car, or an S2000.... at the end of the day you're trying to make a cheap hatch into a monster sports car and neither is going to be a wonderful option.
As much as I love my Polo for what it does, if I want monster performance I wouldn't ever consider it as the base (even in S2000 form) for a white knuckle race car.
That said, 480hp @ tyres sounds FAR more fun to me than the S2000 with *only* 195kw

Very different cars. Other than the shell of the car, doubt much would share similarities
S2000:
AWD
150mm wider (added arches)
front and rear independent suspension
AP Racing Clutch
300mm disks front and rear...
The track width is MUCH wider than the standard Polo, it probably has a chance at holding the gravel.

Indeed, it would barely be a Polo shell on top of a completely different chasis etc.... still, short wide chasis aren't spectacular at the limit, I'd personally be spending my cash elsewhere if I wanted ultimate performance.
Don't get me wrong, the S2000 seems to be as balanced a packaged as you'll ever get from a Polo... I just still see it as sub-par for ultimate performance.
