Change fog to reverse on tail light (9n3 hatch)
Righto, where to start...
Uhm, let me just start of by saying I don't care how much work this is, I want to do it!! So please help me if you know anything about what I'll need to do. I want to change my fog light into another reverse light. I want to do this becuase a car with two reverse lights just look better and honestly, I NEVER use my fogs. Not even when it's foggy. I feel it is just an annoyance to other drivers regardless of weather.
Here is a picture of the circuit board that works the pretty lights when you do weird stuff with the gears and pedals and knobs inside the car:
And here is how I understood it:
I might have the 'currents' swopped, but it gives a good idea of what's happening.
NOW: From what I figured out here is that it is only the wiring that differs. And I went to check that out. The wire leading into connection 5 (counting from the top) on the reverse side of the car, is covered in light blue and white insulation, while the other sides colours are dark blue and black. So, is it safe to assume that all I'll need to do is rewire the fog side and link it up with the reverse wire somewhere in the boot? If I do this, would I need to change fuses?
