  • Heat insulating glass

I was decoding the PR nos in our '01 polo & 4GF & 4KC come up as heat insulating glass.
Is this something special or just a fancy name for tinting?

All I know about it is that it doesn't work!

My car is a freaking sauna after work, even when parked in the shade
Just because it happened to you, doesn't make it interesting

Maybe it would be even worse if the glass was not Heat Insulated Glass...

Have a look at some of the threads about window tinting, maybe it is time to get this done!

sorry to be off topic , but window tinting makes a hell of differance in the summer heat . at a guess at least 10 degrees lower in the car with window tinting and front windscreen reflrctor , its actually barable getting in thecar after a hot day, and this is in my black gti, well worth the money imo.
