The Dec 07 Wheels Mag article was one of the first articles that got me interested in the Polo Gti as my next car.
It's still on the Wheels website here - http://www.wheelsmag.com.au/wheels/s...ullarticle=yes
also it appears with the comparison table here - http://www.carsales.com.au/reviews/2...-polo-gti-5771
It's one of the first places on the net I point someone if their thinking of getting a subcompact hot hatch.2008 VW POLO GTi

I always like the errors in these articles .... apparently the Polo GTI only has a 16v engine now. There attention to detail is poor and for "professional" motoring journalists who spend a lot of time in cars reviewing them, there acceleration and lap times are usually pretty ordinary.

Australia's most reputable and independent motoring experts bring you the latest car reviews, comparisons, news and auto content.
Don’t be fooled by the rather placid looks. When compared to the Polo TDI there is very little difference. It all comes into its own when you turn the key, grab the gear and stab the throttle. Some of the words I used when that turbo spooled weren’t exactly G-rated; in fact they were far from it.
