There is a battery relocation kit to move it to the boot.
The CDA is a large unit for the Polo and there really is not space. I don't remember seeing anyone here with a CDA (does not mean no one does) as they would be about 300 pounds (we get killed with the added shipping costs).
Without looking into it too much, I'd wonder if there would be sufficient space if you removed the old air filter box... Probably not as the CDA's are somthing like 60cm long.

After installing the Forge FMIC, there is a lot of space where the intercooler used to be, but its a long way from the intake.

A few forum members here have used a cone filter with similar results to the Seat 160 intake, the noise of the intake is supposed to be improved.

£300!!!!! Geeze, Thats alot for a intake. Well it does actualy fit but getting a cold air feed to it is tricky. I will have a play with it at the weekend see if i can try get something together for it as i got it really cheap. I will do a few search's on this Seat 160 intake dont have a clue what it is.
If all fails il put it up on eBay. Thanks

        Good luck.

Have a look at this thread: http://www.vwwatercooled.org.au/newf...ead.php?t=6160

Its pretty common down here, even through we have issues getting Seat parts as there is no local Seat support.

There really is not much for local distribution, so group buys and paying import costs from the UK is often the cheapest option.

But we do have this forum which has been a great resouce for anyone wanting a bit more out of the stock car.

What have you done to your Pog so far?

Ahh thats a shame. Well the car only arrived last week so nothing as of yet. a BMC was way down my list of changes but as i said its really cheap so decided to go for it. Im saving my pennies for a remap and a set of Coilovers. That many to decide from! Then il go for a larger down pipe (dump pipe as you guys call it) just going to try and build it up. Max. of stage 2 though with Exhasut and FMIC. Is forge not a Australian company? youl get good deals from them. One thing i was wondering was whenever i fit the BMC i noticed that theres a pipe connecting into the air-box and obviously il be removing it so what do i do with that hose? :S
Yea i must admit this site is great. 103 pages of usefull topics i could spend weeks reading.

The Forge unit a quality product. Its not just the cooler you are paying for, there is quite a lot of piping and they provide a modified crash bar.

Given your location, Likely easiest to stick with the Forge product, maybe see if someone local can get you a better price than retail.

Intercooler is not really required in cool temps, sure you need one in Scottland? You'd be better off working out the intake section (helping the Turbo breathe)

True i did notice the extra parts with the Kit. Scotlands really hot at the moment we have had roughly 3 foot of snow and down to -15oc But yea this weekend im going to have a play with the BMC see what i can do. But need to also see what to do with the other pipe which connects to the air box.
