  • Pre pickup questions

Hi guys, just some questions on what I should be aware of before I pickup my GTI.
How many revs should I keep it under? Or should I drive it like I stole it right out of the dealership?
And...er...thats about it really, anything else?

Oh, and how many K's should I have done before I can get the most out of the car? 5000kms?

I've read you should drive it the way your going to drive it normally

Someone correct me if I'm wrong

yep thats exactly how engines should be ran it, the piston rings have a better seal from what ive read.

ive done this on all my cars, and every one of my cars have been one of those special cars from factory that are faster than the others

          Agreed

I suggest this to all of my customers aswell.

Plus i suggest a change of oil at around a month from pickup or 1000-1500 kms.
