s3 brake upgrade

I currently have a set of s3 calipers and carriers all prepped up and ready to bolt up to my pog.

I am going to source rotors and pads from Jimmy. Are upgraded brake lines worth the cost?

I am curious to hear from anyone who has done the upgrade. I am especially keen to hear opinions about the rear brakes and the balance of the car. (Preferably from first hand experience)

At present I only have the fronts, do you need to think about the rear?

I have a full set of H&R springs, Bilstein B8's, Whiteline FSB (already have the rear) and some seat control arm bushes to go on next week (I have been talking with Jimmy on and off for months it is finally going to happen!).

The current plan is to sort out the pus handling, upgrade the brakes then hopefully jump to stage 2 powerwise in one hit.

Standard rear brakes are fine.
I had standard brake lines as well,with no issues.
Good conversion.

Anthony has done the TT rears and Jasn78 has TT fronts check them out. I reckon Anthonys ( VWINDAHOUSE) brakes are a good thing. Martini pumping through its veins too!!

it was also discussed on UK Polo's as recent as last week. Those with front upgrade only noted a lot more dive when braking, than those that had also upgraded the rear. Regarding the lines, said there is no difference on normal driving, but is noticed on the track or a serious mountain run after successive hard stops - peddles stays consistant.

I've got the TT's (same size as S3's)
Bigger fronts make braking seem less strained.
The stock fronts heat up quickly, so if you are having fun in the suburbs, does not take a lot to make them fade a little
There is no issue with the stock brakes under normal driving, they will pull you up very quickly if required but its nice to have the extra control and for me is a requirement for further track work.
