Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

I haven't got the arm rest, but the dash cubby is very very worth it. I normally fit 2 pairs of sunnies, GPS, receipts. I don't really miss not having an arm rest but the cubby is a must I think.

iirc, you need to drill holes to fit it.

Screws? Hmm might not get it after all. Was thinking of getting the armrest but it seems like a different colour to our interior plastics.

The dash cubby is well worth it. I put my etag in it and receipts, cards etc etc etc.

im just unsure of the quality of the armrest. seems like a good idea, but the colour/install and quality are making me question spending the $ on it. There is a grey leather version as well.
Dub Addiction seem to be sold out of Cubby's atm ;(

armreast don't match out interior plastic, leather or cloth. Yet to hear anyone say they are any good.

dash cubby is a must also looks heaps better than the tray.

Welcome, Yeah I have done both, dash cubby great contact Dub Additions and Tim will get you the cubby,

as for the arm rest, It works but the leverge thing is your enemy, its just a little soft when you put pressure on it, but it still works just don't add to much pressure on it. soft elbo. (sound like an old lady)

                Cheers ssman
