Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • King Springs for Polo a maybe?

    Hi all,

I have been doing what a new forum member does best and have been surfing the forum wave as I am interested in lowering my Polo GTi. I have noticed I have to pretty much look at euro springs and shocks for the Polo. I used to have King Springs in my old Mirage and they were pretty good to be honest, even working with factory shocks. Anyway I looked on the King Spring website and like I already knew they don't do springs for the Polo, HOWEVER, I called them anyway just incase and funnily enough I spoke to a salesperson and he was saying a guy who works for them owns a Polo and they are working on a spring and to keep an eye out for something maybe early in the new year! So there ya go!

My Polo sits on Springs made from ALL Springs.

They custom make the spring for your car.

AllSprings do my custom springs as well.

On your Polo, did they reset the standard ones or make new ones?

My polo was bought lowered, not sure if they gave new springs or re-used the same ones.
