Hi all.. still on the hunt for a Polo GTI

Found this one on car sales, it seems to have an aftermarket exhaust, wondering if anyone knows of the car and its history/mods?

Other than the wheels and exhaust, it does not look modded (not that i could tell for sure). Do you think they've done the full exhaust or just the muffler?

As it is at a dealer, they will probably want a bit over market for it. The extended warranty might be good, but i'd be cautions as to exactly what it covers.

The suspension looks stock height, cant see anything suspicious under the hood from that pic.

There's a white one from a Brisbane dealer with 37,000ks for $26990

.. ridiculous.. similar car in Vic is $20k


I don't think 30ks is worth $8k personally (not at this level of car anyway)

Dealer is attractive as I have something to trade.. and also its a business purchase so can get some GST back..

I'm looking for something with a few quality light mods so i don't have to spend the time/money doing them myself (ie Tune, light suspension, Tip, SEAT, intercooler). im keen on white for colour at the moment, but it wouldn't be a deal breaker.

My 2007 Silver will be for sale shortly. Just gone 50,000kms. Will have to check the lease for a payout figure...just want to break even on that.

Only mod is the seat intake and slightly bigger exhaust tips which you'll find a thread on here if u need pics.

Keep in mind the dealer will most likely only offer you wholesale on your trade-in or give you a higher trade-in figure and not take anything much off the asking price.

I am in the market for a used GTi as well, but the asking prices seem to be $1-$2K over the odds, especially here in Vic.

Nothing like the ridiculous money being asked for second hand Golf MkV GTis though!

Essendon Volkswagen have that same deal on CarSales but it looks like they only have silver available - I was hoping for red
