The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. • Polo Horn, Turbo outlet hoses.

    Hey guys,

just need a bit of help,

whilst fitting the forge fmic kit yesterday we took the horn off its mounting, however when it came to putting it back together it wouldnt go on.

could anyone take a picture of their horn and how its mounted or tell me how to do it, it would be much appreciated.

also some of the old turbo outlet pipes had some oily type residue on them, anyone know what thats about? there didnt seem to be any inside the pipes but quite a bit on the outside.

    Thanks

    Kiel

    Hopefully that makes some sense.

No idea about your oily issues.

If that makes no sense I can probably take a photo...

Oil residue in the intercooler pipes is normal, especially at the lowest point in the intake. Some of the V8 cayennes have an eggcup full pours out when you take the pipe off
