  • Black front VW badge

    Has anyone found one of these THAT FITS the standard GTI grille - ie, is the right diameter and has clips in the right place? If so, where from and how much?

    TMTuning...About $90 delivered. Its the same size as the one used in the MK5 GTI and Eos.

    When I got mine, I found it was the same as the stok one, simply painted black.

    They are having a sale on them atm...

        Hahahahaha...I bought mine, then 10 min later, I found a badgeless front grill...I think it looks even betterererere...

            as mentioned already the polo GTI badge is the same part as the Golf GTI badge. VW actually dont do a black version of these so most companies offer a custom painted solution.

            I had a few done in a satin black finish like VWTHUNDER's and may still have one or two kicking about if you want one. Can do it for about $69 including shipping. Alternatively you could just take your one down to the local panel shop and have them spray yours up for you!

              I spent about $10 and did it myself with some sandpaper and a can of black spray paint...

                Out of interest, has anyone done this to the back VW badge? I have also been considering doing this, but want to do both rather than just the front.

                  Thanks for the info folks. I'll try TM Tuning (a la Blitzen) as the oz dollar is high at the moment...............

                  Re the rear - I debadged and dewipered the tailgate a couple of years ago.
