    Hey Guys,
Trying to get her indoors into a dub and was wondering when the new Polo will arrive so I can talk her into it. Anyone have any dates?

    Cheers

    Early 2010?

Haven't really heard much on it lately.

Thanks, I hadn't heard much either. Seems to be a pretty low key release as I haven't seen any kind of promotion yet?

      Cheers

        Hi Simon,

The new Polo will arrive in April 2010. The pricing will be very similar to what it is just now with the Edition equivelant being the same and the Pacific equivelant going up about $200. I hope this is of help and if you need any more information please don't hesitate to contact me.

        Kind Regards

Is the Polo GTI confirmed for Aus? Is there a release date?

Great to see some dealer involvement in the site.

AFAIK nothing official has even been released by Volkswagen AG on the new Pogo GTI. Heaps of speculation, though.

I spoke to Barloworld and one of the sales people there told me they could be here in June but he couldn't confirm it.

Yea one of the saleman told me 2 quarter next year. Couldn't hold out until then. But I still prefer the 9n3 shape.

From what we have been shown here, it will be 3rd Quarter for the GTI. Has yet to be fully confirmed though, but that is what initial indications were.
                  Cheers,

Yeah we have similar information here, my guess would be around September or there abouts.

I think the Pogo will be introduced overseas at either Essen next month or next Leipzig show.

Rumour is 1.4 TSI from SEAT Ibiza Cupra.

                      To the dealers:
                      What engines ?

I would like the 1.2 TSI

1.4 TSI 125kw for the GTI. I believe 1.6 TDI 77kw replacing the 1.9TDI, 1.2TSI in the Pacific I think, not sure for the edition....I spent more time drooling over the GTI Specs lol.

                              and 1.4 for entry ?

125kW is right between both the SEAT Ibiza Cupra (110kW) and Bocanegra (132kW) so thats good but 132kW would have been better
