Hey guys, as you know i bring in the Seat Bushes from Seat warehouse in the UK, now i thought i would add to that and bring some intake set ups in, looking at old post and having priced them up there is a fair difference, what is the going rate for these? so i know if im in the ballpark, then ill know if its worth bringing them in, they are available a plenty too.
    Cheers

Jimmy, are you asking what we are prepared to pay for them??

A recent group buy had them going for $200.

as above at $199 I havent been able to hold onto stock. If you can bring them in at a competitive price then go for it Jmac! My problem is getting them here at an affordable price now is really difficult once import duty/gst is applied. Although the current exchange rates especially from the UK may be good!

I'm sure with enough interest PWR will make an intercooler to suit our cars for much cheaper.

I've spoken to PWR, they can do one for out car fairly cheap, but again its the interconnects that is the costly part and they are not interested in doing this.

The Seat one is overkill IMO unless you want something bigger than the K04, probably provide lag rather than improved cooling over the Forge unit.

What do u mean when you say that it interconnects?

Do you mean that it has to be a one sided intercooler?

Between the turbo / engine and the intercooler are all the pipes that connect.
here is a pic of the pipes that forge made to connect the Seat unit

That kit was over $600 in the UK.

If you take a cheap intercooler (say $300) to a shop, they have to measure and fabricate all those bits. That takes time more than anything, and that time is going to cost money.
