It can be purchased from Seat UK (I believe Gti Dave gets parts from them).

Cooler is around 800-1200 from memory.
interconnection kit by Forge is another 600 or more.
Its complete overkill, will reduce boost more than Forge.
Good option if you're going bigger than K04 or live next to Uluru.
Probably restricts air flow to the radiator. I understand you are looking for a cheaper option than Forge unit, suggest you rear a couple of the other FMIC threads and see what research has been done.

i have the seat sport intercooler on my GTI,
it's not chipped yet and it performs better.
it has a bit turbolag, but it's so litlle you probably won't even notice it.
he has it under 2000RPM, so i don't think it's overkill...
i used to have heatsoak all the time, with the seat IC i diddn't have it once.
and i find that my GTI pulls alot better in high RPM's also.
normally he would be out of his breath by 5500RPM, now he pulls verry strong to 6000RPM
