Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Great to see the drop you can get from the AP Coilovers.

Does it handle well that low?

        Thanks guys.

AP Coilies are great for the money! Only thing is the back could do with going down further, got the adjuster out and everthing but still not low enough. If i can be bothered i would get some custom springs but keeping money for stage 3.

Love the Phat 5 / Audi Comps, if I could get them here at a reasonable price...

Think I'll be happy with the back that low, and the front a little higher, although without the lip and skirts, it might look a little different.

Wonder if I could use the H&R springs with the AP coilovers... I'll have to wait and see...

I was going to fit my H&R springs to the back but never for some reason, think i might needed to chop them which i was never going to do!

              Thanks for the comments guys!
