Strange engine noise

Since yesterday afternoon, i notice my car sounds like a beetle in the 70s...

What is going on? loose turbo bolt?

Also, found out some one hit my wheel and cut a bit of tyres... wallet broken again... Really dont know when i can save enough money for FMIC....

hole in the exhaust? where does the sound , sound like its comeing from ? front or rear? and how would describe this "sound" , mechanical?, just loder in general?

It is from the front, it just sounds like a boxer engine now....

Hows your boost????? loose bolts will also cause a noticable difference in boost., worth checking them anyway mate 3 16mm bolts top of the ex manifold

Didnt rev it due to teh rattle like sound...

Also the check engine lamb light up last light...

Spoke to vw service, they said this is a common fault with a senor around the engine bay?

Anyone have this happen before?

Used my scan tool and it is P1176, O2 sensor rear, what do i need t fix?

It run rough occasionally now...

Vw wont have time to look at it till 29/09....

i had a quick look on Vortex, hard to interpret but could be the O2 sensor near the Cat.

have a look on Vortex, if you have the time to read through it, some usefull info there.

Hi Che,

There was a crack at the front pipe, replaced the front pipe, all good now! My car has revo stage 2 tune, apr front pipe, customs exhaust, KN apollo intake, high pressure fuel pump etc etc, car was sold, sad to see it gone....
