does anyone know whats involved in draining and cleaning out the radiator in the Polo GTI's?

i've looked at the lower radiator hose and pulling that off will do the job of draining it, but there seems to be a screw type valve there which may do the job easier, but im not sure if thats what it really is. and how can i flush out the heater, engine etc?

on my old torana its easy....pull off the lower radiator hose, let the cooling water come out, disconnect a heater hose, hook the garden hose up to it and with mains water pressure it cleaned out the whole system in the engine block etc.

I'd do it much the same way as any other car, just drain the old coolant out, turn on the heater, and flush though with a hose.
