  • Rear Swaybar

I'm contemplating fitting a rear swaybar as the first handling mod, to counteract the somewhat overpowering tendancy of the car to understeer. Anyone have any experience, thoughts or recommendations?

understeer... i havent noticed it overly bad. Only if im to hot into a corner (and i mean to hot). But thats the general tendency of a fwd car isnt it?

Yep! And it'd be nice just to encourage the car back on line with a slight lift-off, which a well-mannered, sporting FWD should allow No snap oversteer, mind

That's what I'm hoping a rear swaybar will do

Thanks for that -- I recall someone having them, but couldn't remember who.

How are you finding them? I note you have both front and rear. Is the front also adjustable?

Yeah they are great, they have changed the balance of the car dramatically especially under heavy braking into corners.

What i noticed is that it wants to squat a little more threw high speed corners that was very noticable. They are also got 2 adjustable setting front and 3 on the rear and from memory i think its 26mm front and 24mm rear thinkness.

Also as the tail slides a little its more predictable so u feel quite confident pushing it through tight corner after tight corner.
