  • extending flashes for changing lane feature

i searched the boards for this but i didn't find it, so......

we all know about the feature that helps you change lane when you gently flick the indicator. it flashes 3 times and turns itself off. but by accident, i discovered a way to extend it - just flick the indicator twice or three times in succession. flicking it twice gives 4 flashes of the indicator. flicking it three times gives 5 flashes. i only found this out last night, so i dunno how useful it will be. flicking three times might not be more trouble than it's worth, but it's worth trying it out.

Edit: I just tried this out in my Tiguan on my way to work and if I flick the stalk twice quickly, it only flashes 3 times. If I hit it a second time after the first flash, then it flashes 4 times in total, though I suspect that's simply because the second flick just resets the flash counter so it flashes another 3 times on top of the one it's already done. I guess it's still useful though.

I actually want to change the default to 5 through VAGCOM. I know it's possible, I just need to find out what to change.... oh, and get a cable
