Has anyone done this mod? i read from Guy's camp that there is a CDA by BMC that we can use... the reason why i want this is because logically if your going to put an exhaust on, you should theoretically equal that out with more a more unrestrictive inlet. any other companies make a similar apparatus? also guy, when you change the battery... how do you go about all those small leads on top? if i take it to a battery specialist will they know what to do? sorry... my mechanical aptitude is quite good... electrical up to ****.

the new generation vws seem to have a pretty well sorted air intake from the factory dont they?
I know the golf V has a reasonable setup that ducts air from the front. doesnt the polo have a similar setup?

Yeah it does feed from the front put the pipe that feeds has only got to be like 50mm wide.

But im sure u could get some flameproof brake ducting 100mm and replace it and maybe a little triming to fit it into the airbox.

Maybe try that before outlaying hundreds for a pod in a carbon cylinder, the standard box isnt that bad after all there aint any secret compartments for emissions so it looks fine.
