Can anyone comment on changing the N75 valve to the N75J version on a chipped car with the other usual mods (except FMIC) - is it worth the trouble/cost, does it improve response, etc?

And if so is there more than one that will suit the Polo - I've been told the early TT type is probably the one to get?

Have a look through Plautos' thread" Meet my Polo

He has done this change from memory and has a very good technical aptitude for explaining things in plain English.

Think with another small tweak he was looking for better spool control / less fluctuation.

I got one of the first Gti's to arrive in Sydney, This was my fisrt MOD advised by SEB. With nothing else done to the car besides a boost gauge I noticed 2psi more boost than standard and it felt smoother and faster from standing start and rolling start, It cost me $85 by memory but I was working at a dealer then. Also it is fitted in reverse to standard valve. I'll post the part number when I get home, cars in the garage. There is a few different valves.

                Festo Flow Control

Anyone interested in the Festo part that Plautos has installed with the N75 Valve, interesting explanation of how it works here

Cost me $75 for the unit (6509) adapter barbs (11947) and shipping. Going to have to wait a week for the parts as not in stock...
