Got a call from the dealer yesterday, my little beasty has arrived and will be ready to be picked up tomorrow afternoon (Wed 17/01). I am taking the afternoon off just to get it. Haven't told my boss yet but i am. I will get some pics up once i get it. YIIIIPPPEEEEE!!!!!

me not so lucky, rang my dealer yesterday and he reckons it hasnt even left sydney yet

apparently there are some issues with the trucking company

he reckons hes gone up the VW food chain to get it sorted but it doesnt sound promising.

I really thought for sure I would be driving it this weekend

Sorry to hear that, but i have heard a similar story about trucking company problems down here. I was told that the trucking company was suppose to deliver my car straight to the dealer but instead it ended up at the Melbourne depot and Barloworld had to organise another truck to pick it up from there.

I hope you get your car soon.

thank goodness the dealer rang back today and said it has gone on the truck

so hopefully ill be cruisin mid next week

Got it, Love it!!

Picked it this afternoon and i am loving it already. Going to leave it stock for awhile, let it run in before i consider doing anything to it. (but i have plans)
I want to rack up at least 5000 - 7500kms first.

I will post some picks when i get a chance to take some.

I got mine from southport gold coast

I ordered before NYE but had delays as the sydney despatch closed until Jan 8. And then when it should have arrived after a but it didnt as apparently there were issues with the trucking contractors but i was told they went to the top of the VW food chain to get it sorted and then 1 day later i get a call that is on a truck and the very next day got the call it arrived in the dealership.. So Dont worry yours shouldnt be too far away
