Hello all! New to this forum and i am shortly to be the proud owner of a new Polo GTI (Candy White). Can't wait to pick it up. Stumbled upon this forum while looking around for bits for the Polo and i must say it is a great forum. I will be looking to put some mods on it eventually (17" wheels, Body kit, etc...) and this forum looks like it will give lots of help.

Where are you picking it up from??

Im getting mine from southport, gold coast and was told it was ready for despatch as of this tuesday so dont know how long it takes to get from sydney to coast, I assume they have to wait until they have a whole of cars at once and then send them all up.

Anyways hopefully soon, and for the record consider my polo blue.

I really wanted blue with leather but only had red and leather but wasnt prepared to wait 4 months+ also i think red looks cleaner anyway as when blue cars get dirty, you notice it but not so much with red. Plus it goes faster anyway!

Picking mine up from BarloWorld Mentone in Victoria. Don't think it will effect yours, being in QLD and coming from NSW. The sales guy told me it was because of the sale they has recently and selling alot of cars so delivery has been delayed. Not sure if that is a bit of BS or not. I will pray for you that it's not delayed like mine.

From memory it takes 2-3 days to be transported from sydney to brisbane. well thats what it took mine anyway. Oh and trust me its well worth the wait.

Thanks, yeah thats what sales guy told me as well but unfortunately because they were shut down over xmas, it might take longer.

Still i was told as of tuedsay my car had already had compliance plates put on and was at the status ready for despatch but i still thought it would be here by the weekend.

I ssked for a tint too but he reckons that will take 2 days and if it arrives tomorrow it might not get done in time so i m thinking if it does telling them to forget the tint and ill do it later. Problem is, I signed the piece of paper saying there was a tint involved but there shouldnt be any problem cancelling that part should there since the work hasnt been done yet?

Dont know where i Stand on this but hoping if its the case of getting it tomorrw I can get the car sat either way
