anyone blown a fuse from a coin getting into the cigarette lighter/8v

tried to dig out a 2 dollar coin that got stuck in there and now seems to have blown a fuse or something...has this happened to anyone else?

It has probably shorted out the socket. Not surprising really.

Probably taken out the dash lighting or interior light too.
