The Nissan was definately modded (from the looks of the exhaust, wheels, larger brake calipers) but no clue if its got any engine mods as can't be seen from the outside. Definately had a BOV though not that it would do much if at all in terms of performance except increasing turbo/engine longevity and sound. Still, the bad thing about the polo is its still only a FWD. Might be better with suspension upgrades and stickier tyres.

I beat an S15 200sx to the 70km/h speed limit the other day. Driver wouldn't look at me at the next lights as we both took off very casually.

All I could tell was they had a BOV and a bigger exhaust.

Its funny how that always happens where the other guy in the bigger or supposedly more powerful car who gets beat or equalled by a smaller car generally ends up avoiding eye contact. Happens nearly every time. Once, a guy in his falcon failed, his friend pointed and laughed at him (well that's what I'm assuming all the pointing and laughter was all about anyways). He He He LOL.

Maybe he was pointing and laughing at him just for owning the car !

When your talking 1 to 1/2 a second, its reaction time that counts not whats on paper. My mates Porsche on paper does 11.9 but he can only manage 12.8 at the drags?? With his dad driving it only gets 13.2?? Figure that one out?? GT2 by the way.. S15 in Motor and wheels does mid 14??

Reaction time has no influence on your ET. You can sit there forever after the light has gone green but the time doesn't start till you break the beam.

Your mate probably doesn't launch like the professionals do when they go for those times. Redline dumps are good if its not your car...
