Metallic Windscreen?

Does anyone know if the Polo GTI has a metallic windscreen? I have just got an e-tag and am wondering where to mount it!

I have one, and can tell you it works fine just floating in the dash cubby. But if you want to mount it, put it on the screen behind the r/v mirror, so it doesn't obscure your vision (I did this, but the bloody thing rattles , so now I just put it in the cubby when Sydney bound)

I put mine where the e-tag manual says for it to go on all Euro cars. Just above the mirror is a lot of black dots.
